All of our engineers must pass the 60-day MSP Way Boot Camp prior to joining the bench, ensuring that they are truly ready to go when you need them.

MSP WAY BOOT CAMP™ TRAINING

Our technical employees begin their journey at IT By Design by enrolling in our MSP Way Boot Camp™. This is ITBD’s own proprietary certification program that’s based off of 20+ years of experience, and a deep understanding of what makes an engineer great in an MSP setting.

During the program, our engineers are trained on the various MSP tools as well as MSP processes (customer service, time reporting & management, priority determination and SLAs). We’ve leveraged best practices from ITIL, TruMethods, Sea-Level Operations, Helpdesk Institute, and CompTIA.

Our 60-Day MSP WAY Boot Camp provides comprehensive industry and skills training - ensuring our team has not only the right skillset, but more importantly the right mindset.

Welcome to the MSP Way Boot Camp™

A training period of 45-60 days, depending upon the individual, that culminates with a 2-step approval process. During this process we will provide:

What it takes to make the cut

Not everyone makes it out of Boot Camp, and that's a good thing. It's better that decisions are made now before it becomes a costly hiring mistake. ITBD's Boot Camp is a robust vetting process, and while no one is perfect, it is a significant support in reducing costly hiring mistakes.

Scores for each training module are analyzed by local senior technical staff. Low scores require retraining for that module; passing scores move to final US approval.

Successful completion of the MSP Way Boot Camp™ requires a final approval (interview) with US technical leadership before they are moved to the available bench.
