Mitigating Risk

An often forgotten, but essential, component of offshoring is liability insurance, and making sure that you are covered in the event of an issue. Let's be honest, we are all human and insurance is there to protect us.

However, not all offshore providers are able to protect you. While they may have entities setup in the US, unless the offshore entities are wholly-owned subsidiaries of the US company, their insurance will not cover you in the event of an issue. It's one of the loopholes many providers use to cut costs, but often open up their customers to a significant amount of risk.
